Finding Freedom in God’s Forgiveness

Taking time to understand the concept of forgiveness is one thing, but practically learning how to accept forgiveness from God, others, and especially ourselves can feel so challenging. When we are stuck in cycles of sin, it is so easy to begin to believe the lie that we are too messy and that we have sinned above and beyond what God could look past.

In this episode, I’ll share why there’s always hope for you. God is not shocked by our capacity to sin, in the past, present, or future and his grace is absolutely sufficient. While He does this work in us, our job is to live out of this truth that we are covered. Join me to learn how to practice developing this muscle in our faith.

What You’ll Learn

  • What to do with the feeling of needing to repay God when we blow it

  • Why God’s forgiveness can be trusted at any point in your journey with Him

  • Why trying to control sin leaves us more hopeless than when we started

  • How God stays true to his character of being loving and just when he offers forgiveness

  • What a desire to seek forgiveness reveals in you
