Understanding Reconciliation and Its Obstacles

God graciously wired us to thrive though relationships and desires us to live connected and in unity. Yet being human means we’ve experienced the brokenness of these relationships through disagreements, misunderstandings, and betrayal. In different seasons we are the offender or the offended, and often times we are both at once.

The hope for us is that God has also gifted us with the ministry of reconciliation and He offers hope to overcome these hurts in miraculous ways. It starts with understanding what God did on our behalf to draw us near to him. Learn how to begin this process and why you might be feeling stuck navigating broken relationships.

What You’ll Learn:

  • The most common reason you are not ready to engage in repairing a relationship

  • Why we can trust God for this specific challenge and why it matters so much to Him

  • To name the various different types of obstacles to reconciliation

  • Why you can feel hopeless when you are the offender in a relationship

  • The hope you can still claim when the other person is not ready to engage in the reconciliation process
